Actually most of the teachers are not strict at all. Except a few like the DM and the one that screamed in the hall during the newspaper collection CIP briefing. 😛

The CIP Teacher? *hehe* over the years, I've watched her being very encouraging, and at the same time being very sarcastic.(\"where is your brain? Time to take it out of the freezer!) 😜

Erm, I only know of few teachers who punish students via push ups. Those are reserved for the DM. Stricter teachers have a whole list of punishments up their sleeves that they can conjure up at will, from copying textbook chapters to cleaning the DNT workshop (lols). However, most of the teachers will allow for grace periods when it comes to late work. Ultimately, it's still up to the student.

I don't think \"only know of few teachers\" is true. I practically see every single punishment in the form of push-ups, no outside-of-staff room-standing nor warnings nor scoldings given.

You'll see more stand-outside-of-staff-room students when the year proceeds.. 😛

Dun worry about the pushups. To prepare you guys for ns!! 😂 Unless things are different now.

Secondary school prepare for NS 也未免太早了吧. JCs, Polys and ITEs never even ask them to push-ups. :imconstipated:

Well it's just one of the ways to enforce discipline. I dun think anybody will be quick to mete out push ups so dun get too overly worried.

LOL. U were there? Hahaha. That teacher reminded me of one of the fiercest teachers in my primary school.

\"YOU WANT ME TO THROW THIS MIKE AT YOU!?\" LOL. Just replaying her speech. XD

\"STOP PASSING THOSE FORMS. You can keep them in your bag... NOT NOW.\" 😂

Hopefully she won't be my teacher next week (where I get out of my orientation group into a class) :nailbite: 🙏 :xedfingers:

Anyway, in CHS every morning they say a prayer before crossing themselves.

Is it okay to not do it since I'm Buddhist? You know. Like Buddhists can't cross themselves and Christians can't enter temples.

She was damn fierce during the CIP briefing. Maybe she's two-faced (ok this is a Chinese phrase in english literally). She was kinda kind during the registration day of S1 LOL

Yes, it's ok. Just stand there and be respectful. Don't need to do the \"sign of the cross\". Just remain quiet while they are saying prayers - no SMS'g, or making faces at friends/sign language.
