I supposed those offered a place in IP schools still need to fulfill the required T-score for their PSLE. May I know how much?

My DD's classmate was DSAed last year to the top girl school via sport but the requirement for PSLE score still need to be 250. I guess this should be written in the acceptance letter??

i definitely have met some students from the IP schools who got in via DSA but the final t-scores were sub-250

Which school is this? The requirements are clearly stated in the letter of offer.[/quote]personally met those students with sub-250 t-scores, and the principals affirmed that there is no minimum score to meet, as long as they meet the requirement for express stream, otherwise what is the use of DSA? might as well use the psle score

I think it used to be that as long as you meet the express stream cutoff of 200pts, any dsa offer remains. However, my daughter and a friend with a son in RI told me recently that there is now a requirement of 250 that they will still need to meet. In both instances, I heard about this requirement in relations to those under sports DSA. I am not sure if those under the academic domains are the same.

I know that during my daughter's year, some of the sports DSA girls came in with 210s-220s for their PSLE and struggled in their exams in Sec 1 and 2.That may be why some of the schools have this additional requirement now.
