Someone need to send the kid to RI for the test right ?

Do you people let you kid travel there alone on public transport ?

DS has travelled alone on public transport since start of P6.

I supposed for some more important event such as GAT / selection tests and new unfamiliar venue I would prefer to send him there personally to ensure he is not lost (or distracted along the way  ).

Anyone has any idea dsa is based on 80 or 85% for mainstream applicants?

                Thanks.

                Cheers,
                Lynn2

Lynn, if it’s not stated on the school’s website then there’s no requirement for minimum percentage score. It’s not very useful to use the percentage score as a guide because different schools have different standards, so a student scoring 85% in one school may actually not be as strong as a student scoring 75% in another. It’s different for GEP students because they all take the same exam across all 9 GEP centres so MOE and the schools have a fair idea of the performance of the kids.

                    Hi Lynn

Some school like DHS, RVH and Nan Hua stated the requirement of 85%, 80%, 75% or 70% etc base on what type of domain that the student is applying.

However, don't remember see this information at NYGH or RGS.

                      Regards
