Though there was no interview for main streamers, it is extremely difficult for these kids to get CO from RI. For RI DSA, 2nd round domain specific selection test is super tough. IMHO, not matter what tests the students go through, would be a very tough test paper, would be a very tough situational test but should round up the selection process with an interview. I have come across many students who are very, very good or very gifted, would be in language, maths or science but he/she does just does not have the heart and they are arrogance and lack of integrity and humility. To me, He/she might not be suitable to award a CO to the top school.

Those students admitted to the top schools are potential future leaders. Especially for RI/HCI. They need to have the heart and the right attitude.

You might not agree with me. It is just my 2 cents opinion.

Hi Ms Tay,

My Ds (P5) went for RI Science competition recently, & about 3/4 of the questions come from lower sec syllabus & 1/4 from \"O\" level. There're formula for lower sec science under Physics category. If your Ds test include lower sec syllabus, then he will need calculator.

i called up to hci admin office ,their staff told me that hci will not use Gat test for this year and said will have their own different test .He refused to tell me details .Does anyone know about the hci dsa phase 2 information for this yr?

My son applied for hci Dsa phase2 too.their admin staff told me that hci will not use gat test for this yr and refused to tell me the details ! Does anyone have any idea about hci dsa phase 2 test for this yr ?? Million Thanks

is more like a group chit chat session, a few boys from the same school with two / three teachers, very informal, getting-to-know-you type of discussion, the questions have no wrong no right answers, and the answers are of no consequence type......I always joke that the interview session is just to confirm they are not mute and no special arrangement is needed for any special needs

they did not use GAT last year too

the test are on math / science / languages
