For the GAT for RGS, many girls only finished 30 0r 35 questions. Lucky my daughter did more than that. If she dont get in, it’s fine’. then can concentrate on PSLE. But i hope she does. she "likes"the process, surprisingly. And she wants more of it. Haha! Please do share with me how the other schools are handling the process.other worried parents are asking me.

All students with CO are invited to a tea reception whereupon they'll be given their CO letter. :)
U Mean tea reception = Welcome PArty?Funx3:
Last year around 10 or 12/7.
Only give one week to pay and last year initially their credit card payment system got problem.
Anyway NUS High everything should be over by 13/8 since that's the day for the tea reception.
CO -liao?
For those who applied DSA to NUSH, it may be of interest to you that NUSH had two tea reception last year - one was held before the 2nd round half day selection camp and the other was held for those COs. For the first tea reception, only a small group, approximately 50, were invited with their families to attend a talk by the school principal & his senior staff. This was followed by a tea reception in which the staff and some NUSH students mingled freely with the guests. This tea reception was held ahead of the 2nd round and I believe it is a group which NUSH hopes would select the school eventually. Incentives such as waiver of test fees for both rounds were given to this group. If NUSH follows this practice this year, invitation to this tea reception should be out or out soon. -

This is what HCI ask for the applicant to prepare:
What do our DS need to bring for HCI interview? Anyone knows?
Please come in your school uniform and bring along the following items:
1. A set of writing implements (pen, 2B pencil & eraser);
2. A cheque for S$30.00, made payable to Hwa Chong Institution;
3. A copy of your Primary 5 end-of-year results and Primary 6 mid-year results; and
4. Any other documents that you wish to include which provide evidence of your special talent.
(Please ensure that your documents are no larger than A4 size)
thanks twatau. Do they need to bring their own portfolio and the original certs? -
Paddy Field:
We have certified the results and some of the awards in his school. We will just bring these along. HCI already have the information when we register, so probably only the admin stuff will be looking at it to verify and collect. Don't think the interviewers will have time to look at all these.

Wah NJC Hast timing a bit weird leh
Must report by 12pm
Test from 12.45pm till 1800hr
The kids are all going to be hungry. Must eat early lunch liao
And looking at the timing for the tests
1 Reading Comprehension 45 Minutes
2 Mathematical Reasoning 40 Minutes
3 Abstract Reasoning 30 Minutes
Don’t see how they can stretch it to 5 hr 15 minutes even with 30 min between each papers.
Maybe there is an error in their instruction, ends at 1600 and not 1800. -
Hello,
Anybody willing to share what to expect for RGS Science Domain half day selection test?
Thank-you.
