DS very happy that NJC allows smart casual wear for the HAST lol.
DS very happy about that too. Easier to be out in smart casual wear esp. if going elsewhere later. -

Generally true i guess.
For those who applied DSA to NUSH, it may be of interest to you that NUSH had two tea reception last year - one was held before the 2nd round half day selection camp and the other was held for those COs. For the first tea reception, only a small group, approximately 50, were invited with their families to attend a talk by the school principal & his senior staff. This was followed by a tea reception in which the staff and some NUSH students mingled freely with the guests. This tea reception was held ahead of the 2nd round and I believe it is a group which NUSH hopes would select the school eventually. Incentives such as waiver of test fees for both rounds were given to this group. If NUSH follows this practice this year, invitation to this tea reception should be out or out soon.
However there maybe exceptions.
Personally i know of two from last year - one did not receive any offer even though was invited to pre camp tea reception. And one received WL only. ( even had Consistent gold in Olympiads) -

Possible since it's the math olympiad high scorers that are invited to pre camp tea reception but only 1/5 component of the camp is on math.
Something may have gone wrong somewhere in the camp. -

Same, same lah. 60 questions complete in 20 mins.
If you do not know English also can do it. -
What does non-verbal type of question like? is it a non-problem sum kind of question?
-
Check out this website http://www.kent.ac.uk/careers/tests/spatialtest.htm
for example of non verbal reasoning test.
Extracted from website:
\"Non-verbal reasoning involves the ability to understand and analyse visual information and solve problems using visual reasoning. For example: identifying relationships, similarities and differences between shapes and patterns, recognizing visual sequences and relationships between objects, and remembering these.
It enables students to analyse and solve complex problems without relying upon or being limited by language skills. As these tests don't require reading they can give insight into the abilities of those who have problems with reading and thinking verbally, those who may lack motivation, whose native language isn't English and those with specific learning difficulties.\"\"TwaTau:
