Very strange. went to nus high on-line status under \"step six: selection camp fee paid\", it states \"yes\". Does is means that my DS doesnt need to pay for camp fees? search through the web page but there is no means of paying. Does it mean free camp for DS? Anybody knows. Got to wait till Monday to call NUS high to enquire.

Was your DS invited to the pre camp tea reception ?

There is a special group of kids valued by NUSH and for this special group, camp fees are waived. School would even refund fees for Round 1 test. No need to pay camp fees. NUSH would invite this group for tea just before the camp. Strong possibility your DS belongs to this group. Check your email to see if there is any invitation for tea. Good luck!

We have not received Dance Audition notice for My Gal's DSA till this Morning (ALL my Gal's Sch Mates have gone for theirs already) ....
Call up the Sch, and Was informed politely that ALL the Dance Audition were completed! And No More will be Scheduled! :shock: :shock:

I was Surprise coz we neither receive Email nor phone call to inform us of Audition date.

Requested to Speak to T-in-charge, and Wrote Email in to Appeal.
The Sch Was fast to Response, and after Re-checking on their end, call back after lunch to inform me The T-in-Charge has down-loaded a ....
NON-UPDATED-LIST of applicants for the Audition! :faint: :faint:

Hence Thinking that they have completed Audition for Everyone!
They Assured me that My Gal is not the Only one affected and they Will Arrange for another Audition Next week. They Even Thanked me for highlighting this oversight to them.

And They R Really Fast and Efficient ....
10 minutes after calling me, they Call my dh to Arrange for a Dance Audition for my Gal on next Tue afternoon!

I Must Say I'm Pretty Impressed ....
Not on their Over-sight, Of Course!
But on their Speed in Remedying the Wrong!

No email on pre-camp tea reception. Is there one this year? Are you able to make payment? Perhpas it is just some computer glitch that ds has 'yes' to camp fees paid?

Thanks. At least the camp is different from the usual interviews etc, so a change for them.

Indeed, NUSH selection camp will be different from the usual DSA tests/interviews Among all the DSA tests, this must be most relaxing and enjoyable for the kids. Most kids had so much fun doing the science practicals that they forgot that they were being assessed. Good luck to all going for the camp next Saturday.

According to dd, they made her feel comfortable so she wasnt nervous at all. Mayb bcoz we were expecting one to one. And yes, according to previous yrs, nyghs offered co to ge and mainstreamerab4 wifout interview!!!
