Where to find so many schools apply?
I pity the poor kids. 5-6 DSA applications?!? Not only is it time-consuming, think of the drain on the poor kids' morale if he gets rejection after rejection. Of course if he gets all COs good for him. -
phankao:
The parents die die must get a co so ... Maybe they play safe by applying from tier 1 school to tier six school

Hi All
can you give the link in kiasu parents (sure it should have been discussed ) for the below queries. my son is P5. see the posts I started worrying now itself (tooo kiasu)
1. Top 5 IP schools (All I know is RI,NUSH,ACS) . I think I cannot apply for HC because of my DS MT = Tamil. DS in GEP fyi.
2. What is the Niche of the top 5 schools (like good for students interested which career Medicine/politics etc)
3. what is the data we have number of GEP students admitted in RI,ACSI,HC,NUSH,RGS,NYGS) for the past few years -
During the briefing at NJC, the teacher in charge said the kids would be dismiss earliest around 5.30.
I double confirmed with him and he said 5 was definitely the earliest time.
So I went home and make my way back to NJC,planning to reach just before 5 pm.
To my horror, DS called me at 4.30 and said they were dismissed and I just left home.
Luckily he had a handphone with him.
So I made him wonder around NJC for half an hour while I made my way there.
Surprisingly he didn’t see that famous NJC top scorer plaque. -
Hi everyone, I just sat for GAT at NYGH on 9 July & RGS on 12 July. Has any one who attnded on same dates recvd any news ? :scared:
-
told myself to take it easy since chance is very slim but still can’t help feeling a bit anxious now…

1. Don't think there is any ranking of IP schools in KSP or by MOE. For a complete list of current IP schools, you can visit MOE School Information Service at http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/index.aspHi All

2. Among the current IP schools, I am only aware that NUSH has special focus on maths and science education and research while SOTA has tailored programme for visual and performing arts.
3. According to the GEP briefing I attended in 2009, 93% of GEP students in 2008 went to IP schools, 86% were successful in DSA. I don't have any figures more recent than these.
