They probably process the GAT results for both 9 July and 16 July together; and proceed selection for interview from there. Likely gotta wait long while before we hear from the school....is there a deadline for those who receive a co to reply if they accept?
This is taken from the information on 2011 DSA exercise : \" If you have been given a \"Confirmed Offer\" and/or placed on the Waiting List of any school, you should receive a School preference form from your primary school on 24 Oct. During the Exercise School preference Stage from 24 to 28 Oct, you will be asked to select up to 3 schools in the order of your preference from among the schools listed on the preference form. You can do so online via the DSA-Sec Internet system or submit physically to your primary school.\"

So the deadline is 28 Oct. Long way to go.

Oct 28 is when you have to select your preferred DSA school from those who've offered you a CO. The deadline for schools to give you CO is much earlier.

Today is nus High camp day! Told ds to have fun. Only problem is that he has no time to do the piles of school homework and prepare for Chinese oral! Once again they are very organize. Kids have to register themselves, hand in the dsa documents and choose their camp size t- shirt all by themselves. Parents are barred from entering the school premise.

Just sent DS to NUS high. Must say very well organised.

Registration opens at 7.30 but when we reached around 7.20 already got 3 long queue in order according to colour groupings. Teachers and student helpers already there to control the crowd.
Parents were allowed in the foyer but not beyond a certain line where the kids register and pick t shirts etc by their own.

Best thing for me is itโ€™s so near to home. Think this should be my first choice for him but DS and DW may have other ideas.

Oh the back pack provided looks nice from far too.

Yes, all of us in the family like nus high including ds p5 younger brother. I believe since the cohort is so small they really take care of all the kids welfare, groom them and mentor them. All whom I know there love the schools and have no regrets choosing it over ri. I have not heard negative comments about the school from any kids or parents there. For us, we live near Bishan area so tough decision. Anyway nothing to decide now because no co. But if ds can't get into ri, I am very happy to let him go to nus high.

I suppose many will be quite torn between COs from NUSH and RI/RGS ...
