One of the agenda will be to encourage you to put NYGH as your first choice and not go off to other schools if you have multiple COs.
It would be good to attend it if you intend to select NYGH as your school. You can chat with the P and the teachers and find out even more about the school. If you have doubts, it'll be a good opportunity to clear these. -
:congrats: to Randomnity, Kloggy and Trex8 on receiving CO from NYGH!

My son was also interview by P. Whole process take about 40-45 mins. Did She has ask your DS and the rest of the 2 boys to study hard for PSLE at the end of the interview?
wow...what else did she asked? 40-45 min is darn long  ours took like 2o min only...
1) What books did you read? How you find the books? Why?
2) What game did you play. Computer game? Cards game?
3) What movie did you watch recently?
4) Did you read the newspaper? Which news interest you?
5) Did you watch the news on TV every day?English or Chinese?
6) Tell us about your project
The worst is at the end of the session, she said to the group, please work hard for your PSLE and you would come to RI....Seems like hinting something....
hope what she said has no significant bearings on anything..........
Actually, they have already pre-selected their grp of candidates. Interview is just a formality. Short interview means ok nothing to enquire ..
Imagine if you a member of panel and you tell the grp of student \" work hard for your PSLE and you would come to RI \" What is in your mind when you say that ? Is'nt that not obvious enough ?. -

We are thinking of skipping the tea reception as it clashes with our schedule and DD has prelim oral the next day (yes ... prelim oral on a Sat!). Anyone attended it last year can share the details of what happens at the tea reception ? I only know they give out the official offer letter -- could we collect it some other time ?
Thanks! -

I have the same feeling. Just hope that it is not true.

Any others parents or students have same experience during the interview sessions at RI? -

Blur Dad:
The vp didn't say that to my ds group. If he does I will see it positively that he was being very kind to prepare us for the worst.
