Hi, DD went to DHS this afternoon for dance audition. Also saw some students went for Chinese Orchestra audition this afternoon.
Hi Brenda,
Long time no chat. How did your DD go with her dance audition at DHS? Hope everything went well.
All the best to your DD :rahrah:
Hi Tinkerbelle
Iβm so happy to see your post this morning after such a long time.
There were 13 girls shortlisted for CL Dance Audition. The time started from early 2pm until 4pm plus and they schedule about 10 minutes for each girl. There were 3 teachers conducting the test.
DD has to follow some warm up/dance steps that demonstrated by one of the senior student and after that she has to present a short dance performance (about 3 minutes plus).
A simple conversation also before she left the room.
Think is not easy as some of the girls are from NAFA with at least grade 9.
They will notify us the outcome by 2 Sept. -
Good luck Brenda10 and Tinkerbelle!

Hi Tinkerbelle,
Hi cestmoi,cestmoi:
vlim, eh u calling me? Yesh, I m one true blue ksp mummy!
Hmmm...Lenny08, Any chance of gathering the questions being asked in the interview & posting it for this & other KSP here? Thank Q :nailbite:
DD just went for RGS interview last week under English domain. There were 3 students to 2 interviewers. They started the interview with a brief intro from each girl.
Both interviewers took turns to ask questions and the gals took turns answering. There's no specific order of answering. Anyone can answer first should she decide to. DD mentioned everyone in her group was very outspoken but the gals managed to take turns answering first for different questions.
Just for reference, these were the questions asked for DD's group:
1) Why do you want to come to RGS?
2) What are your strengths?
3) What are the qualities a prefect/leader should have?
4) Have you had any disappointments in life?
5) What are your hobbies?
DD mentioned that the interviewers had the gals' results/achievements and personal statements in front of them and referred to the gals' achievements briefly during the interview. Each student had 1 other question asked in reference to that respective student's achievement. For example, 1 gal mentioned her hobby was writing so the interviewer asked if she participated in any national or international writing competitions.
Overall, the interview was a pleasant experience for DD. The 3 gals walked into the interview room as total strangers but came out laughing together. Maybe they were just glad that it's all over..keke :rahrah:
When is your DD's interview? Here's wishing your DD all the best for her interview. :celebrate:
Thanks for your sharing.
Looks like this year Interview Q at RGS is geared more to let the Gals be comfortable to talk about something they R familiar with ....
My Gal's Interview Q R almost similar to yours, except for specific Domain Q related to their DSA Application.
Good Luck to your Gal.
Now that I think about it, If Both our Gals R successful ....
They Will be Sch Mates next year, Right?

Oh DHS only Audition for Shortlisted Candidates? Do the Gals Audition in Group, or individually?
How Do U know the Gals R From NAFA? Is it by the Purple Leotard that they wear, Or your Gal knows them personally?
I would think that not necessarily they will pick all NAFA gals. Also it depends on how many vacancies they have for DSA-Dance. And Also their Sch and GAT and Interview (if any) outcome ....
At Least that's What NYGH Chinese Dance CCA T told us During Audition ....
Good Luck to your Gal!

Totally agree with you. Luckily the questions were manageable and the gals didn't get questions like \"Would you rather be a pen or a pencil\" :scratchhead: ...keke
DD did mentioned that the interviewers tried to engage them and put them at ease.
Hopefully our gals make it huh. Would be nice if they are sch mates. If your DD gets a CO, let us know ok. Good luck to your DD. :xedfingers:
