May I know why RI doesn’t have O/L?.So the kids promoted without sitting O/L exams?TIA.

integrated program (IP), also known as through train, no need to take O level, go straight to A level

besides RI, HCI/RGS/NYGH/RV/NJC/DHS/NUSH also same same

the kids must get through the promo year by year, based on CA/SA/EOY exams

Got that serious meh ? Poor girl... My friend still run around the whole singapore looking for school to appeal...

like all of us here had advised, your friend need to face reality! No good for the morale of her girl, if all schools she appealed (way off COP 30+ point ), it will be even worst. That girl will think and feel that no school wants her!

Let's face it, imagine if she is lucky to be accepted by one school, Can she cope with the pressure of academic excellent demand in that school?. If she can't catch up and always struggling at the bottom, is this good for the kid? or worst, get transferred out…. :siao: Think about it, be realistic and fair to the child psychological development. That is being a responsible parent!

Hi HyperKiasu, there are some primary offered bicep programme (bilingual) starting from P4 and in P5 the school will nonminate some to attend the talent camp organize by HCI. During the camp, HCI will nominate a handful of candidate and selected them as camp leader for the following year camp(ie the child will be in P6) and act as group leader for the P5 group. This group of pre-selected boys will be very high chance for the successful DSA.


From my understanding, those children who attend bicep programme and pass the DSA critieria will usually be offered a CO or WL. Attending bicep programme is just an entry criteria but to clear the DSA test and interview are the most important factors for DSA.

Just cusious to find out, has anyone recevie any acceptance calls, emails or snail mails from RI for the \"Supplementary Intake\"?


I remember last year there were students with high PSLE score receive acceptance call the next day after they submitted the application even they were already accepted by other schools via DSA.

Anyone?

Im really interested about the answer to the question above too!

my son got 261 but got into nus high through dsa.
he had applied for RI supp intake. but, there is no news to date.
he has math olympiad platinum medal.


wonder what are his chances?
anyone with similiar experence?

So no news about DSA CO transfer at all.
