Just recvd rejection email from RGS.. Scratching our heads why DD is rejected...DD is a mainstreamer, top gal in a neighbourhood sch, scoring above 90% since P1, has UNSW High distinctions & other awards, won at least two individual trophies for National Competiton in sports since P4. During the last interview with RGS, DD felt she had done her best & her classmate who was in the same interview as her, witnessed the interviewers being visibly impressed with DD & she congrats her for her superb eloquence & quick thinking. DD as usual in her humble self dismissed the praises.

Luckily, we hv set our eyes with NYGH ( of which a CO has already been recvd :rahrah: ) way before & there was just no deep sense of disappointment but full of WHYs huh? :?

My dd went last Friday. Apparently quite casual.

Eg. What is your interest? Talk about interest. Did you apply DSA in other schools? What if you are the only person who gets into this school and you left all your classmates? How do you think you can cope with the SBC program?

Gloomy weather all no mood to post ?
Has NJC sent out the corrected email already ? with proper timing for the interview ?
Ours is sent to Ds's email account so I can't check now.

Just received this mail from NJC:

Dear Applicant,
Due to the technical error, the Interview Date given in the email notification sent to you on 12 August 2011 is not appropriate.
Kindly ignore our email sent on 12 August 2011 on Phase 2B- Interview Session.
A new email will soon be replaced.
Please note that the 'Date for Interview' and 'Day Activity' are on the same day i.e 20 August 2011.

WL is as good as confirmed. Just put it as first choice

Expected, received rejected letter from ri.

Hope ds will not lose his confident and keep working hard for the psle.

This was exactly how I felt when we received rejection letter from RI last year.....it was just days before PSLE oral... I was worrying that he would feel demoralized. But it was the opposite, he worked even harder..he is in RI now.

Don't worry too much, they can be stronger than us in this kind of situation.

I heard nygh has finished all the tea sessions for CO and WL. Last session for WL was last Sat (met a fren whose DD went for tea).
