hearing from some parents, i heard the P5 and P6 girls from both St Nick and SCGS are now working very, very hard to prepare for PSLE, all getting geared up to prepare for IP 2013 (pioneer batch).

i believe they'll all do very well!

The P6 will not be involved what.
So SCGS and St Nic join Catholic High in a new JC at year 5 and 6.
Another JC with girls outnumbering boys ?

Maybe the intake of outsiders will have more boys all clamouring to be with the SCGS and SNGS girls?

Yes, believe parents will send their sons clamoring in to mix with these 2 excellent schools of well-groomed polite culture girls, well brought up, know how to dance ballet, can dance chinese dance, can grace occassion well, can articulate confidently type ... good potential daughter in law material type.

              Blur Dad:
              Hi

Any feedback from the ASC(I) talk? How is the new P?

Any ACS fans/old boys/supporters here to provide your feedback of the talk and the new P. Can he bring ASC(I) to a new height?
4 counters for registration n collection of letters. 2 for the affiliated primary schools, 2 for other primary schools. After which proceeded in to LT for principal talk.

Principal quite ok ... Nice guy overall, n I can personally feel that he is a firm man from the way he talked. Particularly when he advised the young man not to be complacent upon getting CO and neglect their studies, but to work VERY hard n not start playing computer games. When the boys start laughing, he did not laugh n said this is not funny at all!

Also reminded the boys to be very sensitive to their peers who may not have gotten any co or WL. Very humble n very reflective of Christian virtues. I believe the boys in school definitely look up to him.

In the CO, there is a para to request parents to get back to them by 2 Sep if they intend to decline the CO so offers can be made to those on WL. They also assured those on WL that whenever there is vacancy, they will call up n give them CO. Not sure how many WL they gave out though.

In other words, those on WL need not wait till psle results to get their CO. Anytime they have ppl giving up, those on WL will get it. So I assume there is an internal rating on those with WLs as well.

Did I miss out anything? Anyone has any other things to add?

what if the WL is very long list, and many accept CO and not give up ?

They only said as n when there is vacancy, they will call, SMS or email to inform you. I overheard that an Indian boy had CO from RI as well. The P n VP also know that many have received multiple offers, so they appealing to parents to let them know early so those on WL can be informed early as well. No specific dates given but by 2 Sep is what they appeal the parents to get back. So there n about ...should know before psle I guess

KCQ, I like your maturity for someone so young. All the best to your DSA. If it doesn't come through, work hard for your PSLE. I'm sure you'll get into your dream school.
