Have just received HCI letter and it is a rejection. DS will have to depend on his PSLE score now but hope this will be a wake-up call for him .

Sorry to hear that Pen88n. If your son is likely to be affected by the DSA results, maybe just hold it back until Friday. If his friends talk about it in school, just tell him that the postman hasn't delivered it yet. Good luck on his PSLE! I'm sure he'll be able to get into his dream school that way.

And If I'm in your Shoe, I'll Break the News to him on Fri, Or over the Weekend, in a more relax setting. Don't Want to affect the Cheong-Mode for the Prelim at this stage, Right? Afterall, Knowing the outcome at this stage does not spur them on, I Think.

I think let him know after he has finished his prelim la so tt it would not affect his mood...
