:thankyou: funx3!!! actually DS has decided to choose RI. i also prefer RI to HCI due to the distance. dont want DS to spend too much time travelling to & fro everyday, can be very tiring for him!

My ds scored 268 - 275(since p3- p6 ) he got 1st in his level every year in his school .I really dont understand why ri and hci rejected him . Anyone can explain ???

Have just received HCI letter and it is a rejection. DS will have to depend on his PSLE score now but hope this will be a wake-up call for him .


DS is in the midst of his prelims, with 2 more papers to go till Fri. I am wondering :scratchhead: if I should break the news to him, or keep till Fri? Still indecided...... :slapshead: :stupid:

Sorry to her about DS. Your DS's academic achievements are indeed impressive. Maybe it was stiff competition from the other applicants. Guess it's hard to decipher the 'X' factor they are looking for. Don't be too disheartened. With your DS's consistent stellar performance, I'm sure he'll be able to get into RI or HCI with his pSLE T-score. All the best. :xedfingers:
