That being said, we will have to wait till Monday.... BTW, since MOE guidelines stated that all should be notified by 2 Sep, does that also mean that we have to feedback to NJC and see what the school has to say about not adhering to rules?
They can easily shift the blame to the postal service.

yes, do consider DHS for DSA. It is a good school and the DSA process is not complicated for GEP students. Just fill in the DSA form. No interview for my son last year. You can visit the school open house next year and get the DSA form. If I did not remember wrongly, I think the requirement for GEP overall is like 75%.

GEP always gets discounted entry criteria.

GEP vs mainstream exam is not an apple to apple comparison. For example English and Maths are great more difficult and pitched at sec level. To score Eng at 75% is already quite challenging while mainstream Eng is easy to score above 85% for GE students but they are not judged by mainstream Eng at DSA so actually it is unfair to GE students if you really want to compare.

Dear Parents who are still waiting for NJC’s letters

It means bad news if u have not received any letter by now. DH called NJC on Thursday and was told letters posted to successful ones on Wed and they will post unsuccessful ones only next week. It’s bad news for DS as NJC is only remaining hope. So got to really "chiong" for PSLE. Given his very weak Chinese, slim chance to get to his dream school. Will try our best and commit the rest to God. God bless. A very worried mum.

Oh dear, CSN. I hope your postman was inefficient and you'll receive your CO on Monday. Good luck to parents waiting for their NJC COs. :xedfingers:

Given that a lot of parents have shared that hardly any GEPpers apply to DHS, I wonder how many actually end up there.
fyi, there are 2 GEP classes in yr 1 (> 50 pupils)
it doesn't only include Gep pupils , also include partial mainstream pupils with agg score of >270
only partial, becos there are also pupils >270 allocated in other classes.
but, the figure for GEppers who were actually offered CO could def higher than the above.

                    CSN,
Sometimes there is postal delay. Just tell your DS to work hard for PSLE and I'm sure with his 3 other stronger subjects, it will turn out to be fine. Best of luck!

Oh dear I hope you are wrong.
So far only one person reported receiving the NJC letter here.
So maybe there is postal delay.

Hi pen88n, believe our postal delay will not be this long. Many thanks for your well wishes too. My DS is one of those who take things, incl exams very lightly. Hope the unsuccessful DSAs gave him a very clear message that he cannot bochap anymore. Am praying that he can see the "light" now. GB
