Hi ngbrdad, fyi we've rec'd the rejection letter fm NJC y'day afternoon. The letter was dated 8th Sept & the post office stamp 12th Sept. Think they must hv prepared the letter & take their own sweet time to drop into the postbox. Guess u shld be receiving these 2 days.

Well at least you have closure now.
Anyway it does not matter to your DD.
All the best for the PSLE.

Well, though we r firm on NYGH but DD is still a little disappointed. Nevertheless, it was a gd exposure for her.

Thks for ur wishes....all the best to ur DS too:)[/quote]Pinky, Good tt your DD has Set her Mind on NYGH!
Now it's Time for ALL our Kids to JiaYou for PSLE!

Thanks VC's mum for the info. Could you repost it int he open house discussion thread:

            http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=17468

It would be interesting to know how many seats are taken up by DSA and how many seats open for S1 posting. Also is there any change in the total number of intake this year.
So parents( especially of P5 kiddos) those who are going for the open house could you please ask these Q during the Q and A. :please:
I don't think many P6 parents will be going, as we have already made too many visits to NJC for their famous DSA
BTW, we finally received the unsuccesful NJC DSA letter yesterday. 🀷
Sure, it's reposted over http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=20555&p=584836#p584836. Sorry to hear the unsuccessful NJC DSA outcome for your child. Anyway, we will still visit them on this date even though one of DD2's COs is from them. Wish your child all the best in this upcoming PSLE 2011.

U received the letter from HCI ?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, we did.

Can any parent who has past experience share what will be covering in the symposium.

'haphazardness' to describe NJC DSA is .....(ok, save the words to avoid stone flying from NJC fans) ...........

In 1971, NJC produced 7 president scholars. I think this amazing record of a single school that produced the most number of president scholars in a single year still stands till today.
