Anyone has the breakdown of places available thru DSA at various schools ?

And how many of these are reserved for GEP students ?

Heard that RI has 200 places, with around one quarter reserved for GEP.
NUSH has around 150 with no GEP reserve places.

      What about other schools ?

School / Intake per year / DSA allocation
        RI / 450 / 50%
        HCI / 450 / 50%
        NYGH / 450 / 50%?
        RGS / 450 / 50% ?
        NJC / 200 / ??
        NUSH / 200 / 160 ?

For RI : (about 180 out of 450 are GEPpers, some via DSA, some via S1)

For NUSH - about 90% ( if meet selection criteria)
Total intake varies , max is 180
Last year ( current Year1s) intake was about 140 only

Wah RI takes in so many GEP ?

More than half of the GEP boys cohort per year.

RI has 7 classes for the GEP boys, approx 7 x 25 = 175, class size 30, the other 4 or 5 are mainstream high scorers

HCI iSpark consortium has about 80 ~ 90 GEP boys, so in total RI + HCI has about +/- 250 GEP boys,

I see so both school take about 5/7 of the GEP boys.

Every year around 85% of GEP kids take up DSA offers.

So looks like ACSI, NJC, NUSH, Dunman High do not take in that many GEP boys.

I think majority of GEP boys are in RI and HCI, with some in ACSI and NUSH.

                      WL as good as CO

I think your question should be 'wah so many GEP applied to RI?'

they can only take in those who applied and who meet the admission criteria, as in any DSA schools
