Just curious, what do they ask at DSA during the interview? My son's time there was no interview for both RI and ACSI.

They will ask which other schools u apply for DSA and if all schools offer confirm offer which one will u choose.. 😉 ..

Huh? O yes, these were the questions my DD was asked when she went for her DSA interview. Also ask why they should take you among all the great candidates they have, and also ask about your strength. My daughter said she was 'nice'. So funny. We had a good laugh.
I also complained to the principal about the teacher who asked this question - because my DD said she will choose another school. I found it unfair they should ask a child this question. They sent an apology and accepted her anyway. Do they still ask this question? So ridiculous, only my silly daughter will tell the truth and say she will choose another school.

(or they've been coached by their parents on how to handle the question). 😄

Think of DSA interviews as being similar to Job Interviews, and you'll soon imagine what kind of questions they'd ask. Surely about strengths/weaknesses, how you apply your strengths to your \"job\"(how you've managed challenges in your primary school life), have you applied for other jobs (other schools), why should we take you in for this job(for this school)....etc.

Now that I recall all these, hm… maybe don’t bother for DS2. I also recall the agony and this girl almost pee during the interview, that fierce teacher who was literally interrogating the girls… maybe not a great idea. Was looking for a sec school he can call home.

Thought there is the story of a kid who answered he chose RI becos he parents wanted him to.

Wonder whether he got in or not.

Oh and what was the outcome for the presidential candidate’s grandson ?

And did Pan Ling Ling’s son manage to DSA into HCI ?

I know PLL's son had a WL for HCI (heard from friends, whose children are from Ai Tong), but I don't know if the WL has been converted into a CO, on PSLE result release day.
Heard that PLL's son also applied DSA to CHS (via Volleyball), but again, i'm not sure about the outcome.

The grandson is going to ACSI. Maybe your DS will be in the same class as him....keke.
