Hi TREX8Hi clover18, DD registered for RGS and NYGH DSA. Have submitted application for both schools but have yet to hear anything from both schools yet.
Which schools are your DD doing DSA for? Maybe we can keep each other posted should we hear of anything...clover18:
Thanks jtoh. Anyone knows if the interview process has started for the girls' school. Deadline for DSA application is in early July, and it seems like many schools are already commencing on the interview process!
We intend to DSA for RGS/NYGH as well, but have not submitted yet. We will be doing it soon, just pending a testimonial from the school. By the way, did you submit a portfolio together with your application...or just the certificates? Lets keep each other informed when we hear any updates. -
My wife was told by RI office that GEP kids will take the GST on the earlier dates (RI has 6 dates for GAT) during last week of the school hols.
However now middle of second week already still no news from them, -

ya...the office attendants did highlight that the GAT will be during the holiday so make sure the kids are not away for holiday if they need to take GAT... -
Hi clover18, no need to do portfolio at application stage.
RGS online application form needs applicants to list down CCA, Leadership Positions and Other Awards/Achievements besides keying in P5 Overall and P6 mid year results. I've called RGS and was told that the only hardcopies to submit are cover sheet (with photograph pasted), personal statement, and certified copies of P5 overall and P6 mid yr exam results. There is no need to submit photocopies of certificates etc to proof the CCA, leadership positions and awards/achievements listed in the online form. I suppose they will check those after GAT and when applicants move on to interview stage.
For NYGH, more troublesome as all documents (birth cert, result slips, certificates, testimonial etc) needs to be scanned (in jpg and each file not more than 1MB in size) and attached for submission online.clover18:

For certified copies of results, do we just photocopy the results and ask our school to certify?Hi clover18, no need to do portfolio at application stage.

Photocopying or scanning is relatively simple; certifying can't be done at home. -

Yes. All the certs thru school competition - say NMOs, NSW and school certs will be certified by school.
