I think we have been watching the same plays šŸ˜„

Well, for me I did not atually make the rules so explicit for DS1, as he was 3+ when I first started bringing him to plays. I did prepare him that the lights would be off.

I also prep him before each play we watch, as far as possible, like reading the stories, talking about the plot and characters. So our approach is similar except that your DS has an even earlier start than mine.

I'm also bringing DS1 to watch \"Swimmy, Frederick, & Inch by Inch\" presented by Act 3, as well as \"Farmer, Fox, Bird & the Cookie\" by Esplanande Playtime. These are more affordable than \"Room on the Broom\".

        Yes, you are right.

Just obtained the esplanade booklet. Let's see if I'm able to bring DS to some of the performances that you mentioned.

I watched \"Into the deep deep forest: The nicest Egg in the World\" by Playtime in Oct. I think it was good and simple enough to understand even though I did not prepare DS1 beforehand.

I am a fan of The Little Company and will try to catch their plays. Unfortunately not many theatre groups cater to such young children. On the other hand, that's good for my wallet :moneyflies:

My boy enjoyed it so much that he did not want to go home. & he stood throughout the whole play so that he could see the whole set clearly.

I think they have another one coming up in Dec, got to check the Esplanade booklet.

I’m also looking forward to the play. This time must go earlier to get seats in front. I was right at the back the other time.

Just received email from SISTIC that Bear and Chicken Get Ready for School will be in the theatre in Mar/Apr 10. For those who watched Bear and Chicken go Camping, I'm sure you won't want to miss it šŸ˜„
