Yah, super ks. I know of 1 school in the east and 1 in the west doing this. Heard that only prelim 1's marks will be counted in report book but not prelim 2. -

My school got us to buy the booklets and we are finishing them now. So far, left English, HMT and Science not completed.Did any of your child's school get them to buy PSLE booklets which contain past years' questions?
Mine did. I looked thru his EMS booklets, and as I expected, these booklets were barely touched! For Math, only completed Pg 1 to 20 (Topic on Numbers only). For Eng, only 6 pages done. :faint:
I'd like to get him to do but I've no ans key. And I'm reluctant buy another set with ans key. -

Your dd has 3 supp classes per week, how are the subjects divided over the 3 days? Your dd's teacher also seems very ON.
Will your dd be having any revision class during this Sep school holiday?
yup...school has informed 4 days of revision during sep hols.
dd informed me that the National Day celebration will end at 10:15am on fri and those weaker students will have to stay back after celebration for extra lessons. poor kids....can't even enjoy a day off! -

My kids’ school used to have 2 prelims too but this year, the principal announced that they will only have 1 prelim because they don’t think it is v useful to have 2. they are replacing the prelim with some step up programs…
as for past year PSLE papers, i left it to the school teacher to go thru with ds’s class, he is supposed to hand them in after the prelims. for me, i focus more on other schools’ past year prelim papers and assessment books (if there is still time left)
