This year's pre-PSLE activities in is much toned down compared to last year. I joined the forum only last year and could really feel the excitement of the parents and students. I was so caught up - like as if my own kids are taking PSLE.

Hope this years Math paper is more \"normal\". All the best to everyone.
Though ds will only be taking PSLE 6 yrs down the road, I already felt the excitement & fear when reading this thread. To think that 6 yrs worth of sacrifices & hard work (both students & parents) boils down to the performance in next few days. That's why my teacher friend advised me to make sure get ds all the vacinations done well before the exams period. Her dd contacted chicken pox close to PSLE and it was terribly disruptive.

well yeah, but I thought last year's \"hardest\" PSLE question wasn't that unreasonable.

          >Octopusmum: if I were a parent, nope 🙂 if my children were to play games, they might go into the exam room thinking about the game, not about the exam, for example, \"Oh no I still haven't passed level n yet, how do I do it?\" this might lead them to not be focussed.

          >Joconde: I agree... however, when your child gets older he needs to learn self revision

          > Augmum: Thanks

          > Jtoh: agreed

          > Moonflower: Thanks

ds just told no pencil case only translucent bag is allowed. Is it true? Kiasu teacher told him.

No. pencil case shouldn’t have any strange markings on it though

Most parents seem to be so cool here. Perhaps I should have taken this attitude a bit earlier. Really regret that I sent my girl to a Science workshop on children’s day. Now, I have to undo what was taught.

The pencil case has to be a translucent one with no markings.
