        Hi.

For washing machine, there are a few points to look out for:
        1. How many people in the household?
        2. Will you be getting a dryer as well?
        3. Budget?
        4. Front load or top load?

For front load washing machine, one of the more reputable brand is BOSCH. They have been making washing machines for 50 years.
There are a few models to choose from and do get those made in Germany.
I used Bosch and it is water saving and energy efficient.
Yes, front load is better than top load because of the way the tub spins and your clothes are supposed to last longer.
            Hope that helps ๐Ÿ˜„

And forget to add on, I have 5 people in my household and I buy the 8kg washing machine. It also depends on your washing routine. Cheers

yeap, BOSCH for us too. So far so good. Canโ€™t recall the price, so not sure whether itโ€™s below S$1k. White goods are nowadays quite competitive, so just go into any of those Best Denki/Courts and check them out
