Any short cut then to queue 48 hours...
Hearsay there's priority registration for existing students. Perhaps you can sign up for other less popular programme then enrol for art programme? No need to queue then.
In any case, better double check with nafa admin to confirm whether this hearsay is true. -

When they Move up to Upper Pri, More Techinical Stuff Will be taught.
True, Nafa mostly craft work. Not so much on the technicality of drawing.
I'm considering withdrawing

Hi mummies and daddies, any feedback on your child’s work or learning at nafa kinder arts? I welcome any positive or negative feedback.

Yes , priority is given to existing students. So if you really want , you can sign up for their dancing class in the second half of the year , and around nov of that year , you will get to register for the arts class for next year. Please note arts class only register students once a year , in nov, whereas dance classes , you can register in may and nov.wan2bdad:

Oh I see. Thanks for the info.
At intermediate level (for 9 & 10 years old) still plenty of of craft work. -
I would like my dd to learn real life sketching.
My dd took a cartoon sketching holiday class with a non-nafa teacher & she seems to have a flaire in sketching. Looked really nice! I think she’s ready for technical drawing and realistic sketching long long ago but Nafa is not touching on this at all.
However that holiday class teacher does not conduct regular classes. So can’t continue with that teacher. And I think that teacher teaches more cartoon type of sketching. Probably not exactly what I’m looking for either.
Anyone has any idea which art school focus more on technical drawing and realistic sketching ? -
So far any good feedback from those that took NAFA?

For me, as long as my child is enjoying the class and what she does in class, it is alright for me. There were some good art pieces that she has produced in class and some not so good ones… I am not too concerned. If she has the time for the class, we will continue to let her go.
For info, it is possible for NAFA to promote children faster than their peers (mine is one year ahead and she isn’t the only one). Maybe can check with NAFA if interested. -
I am interested in sending DS to nafa for art lessons. H/e, when I checked the website and called up the personnel, it seems that those not on the mailing list will not be invited to register. Does anyone have any advice for someone like me? Please pm me…thanks much
