Any (slightest) idea when will A Level results be released ? Do schools allow parents to go with DCs to collect results ? Thanks…

Release of A Level Results:
Tentatively between 23 February 2018 and 27 February 2018.

No experience on the second question. -

LOL ... it's not whether the school allows the parents to go or not. It's whether your DC allows you to go or not.

I agree! I think my daughter would be appalled if I asked to go along. I'll just wait by my phone...iFirefly:

I think generally kids don't want their parents hanging around school for A level results. BUT I've heard of parents who went to school anyway. (Not my daughter's batch.) :rotflmao: -

IFF, I didn’t go to DD’ s school when she collected her results 2 years ago. She didn’t allow me to go. All I did was to wait for her to text me her grades. Very nerve wrecking n I hv to go through one more time next month. -
why would any parent want to hover around when the youths are catching up with one another and with the teachers? With mobile devices, the results will be transmitted at a blink of an eye.

I think whether results are good or bad, the children will hv to face it themselves. They will emerge stronger from the experience.
