Just wondering which is harder to score/ more difficult - Economics or Chemistry?

Hi all, my son just got his o lvl results, his net L1R5 is 7, and he wants to take the arts stream. Currently he is looking at either cjc or anderson jc, do u guys have any advice/suggestions? Also if he chooses arts stream over science stream, will it limit his choices in the future?
