Seriously, that jump from P4 - P5 is really more like a LEAP towards the unknown. Almost all the kids will see that sharp drop...making all parents hysterical :lightrod:

SJI will be at present premise in 2013 and then at temp holding school in Bishan from Jan 2014...daughter's school moving back to original site beside Phillips in July 2014.
All the moving about really a headache.

thanks, we went thru that cycle when DD was in P5…. thankfully, the school had briefed all the parents to be prepared for that great leap forward \" cultural shock\". But it still gave most parents some concerns during p5, CA1.. b'cos we are so used to seeing the kids scoring near to 100% or 100% all the times.

My son hardly scored 90 plus. So dropping to 30% at P5 made us super worried…I insisted getting help for son because he had trouble coping in school.

Don't worry, MOE already said going to make changes to PSLE, so whatever the score still go to a good school.

Is your dd going to P1 in CHIJ Toa Payoh ????

CHIJ Secondary (TP) is not moving to any holding school .... the primary school is renovating and moving to a holding school not the secondary school.
