Hi, thx for you reply. I asked this question is because NYJC has a list of CCAs for those who would like to DSA to them, but my son’s CCA is not in the list. So I am not sure whether they will consider students from CCHSM for DSA even his CCA is outside the list. I guess I would have to check with them. Thx.

Since your DS CCA is not in the list of CCAs in NYJC, I don't think you can use his CCA to DSA to the JC. But best is to check with NYJC.
The only way to enter NYJC is through O levels - affiliation of 2 points and HMT of 2 points or CCA of 2 points.

Not surprised as CCHM is quite popular.
For those who are thinking of putting your kids in this school, I will say it's a good choice. Academic wise, the school is not in the top tier but your kids will enjoy the 4 years there as it has a warm and holistic environment. Overall the teachers are very caring too but of course, there will be some black sheep.
My DS made many good friends in CCHM n I can see he misses the good old days there. The boys during his time are mischievous but fun, sincere and caring buddies. -
I talked to a CCHSM student on the way home and found out that the school no longer placed their students in the Talent Development classes according to their ability in Maths, Science, Chinese or Music for this yr Sec 1. Anyone know whether they still hv Talent Development Programme for Mathematics? Thanks.
