      Happy Mama:
It's ok Janet... don't have to be afraid. I have done mine 4 years ago and so far so good. πŸ˜‰ I couldn't describe the joy I felt on the first night I did lasik. Everything around me was so clear when I switched off the lights... In fact, too clear that I was not used to it..

Can you imagine you could see the stars in the sky so clearly including everything in the room?... so much so that I thought I had forgotten to remove my specs before sleeping... Everything around me was just too clear (without wearing specs)... when normally the moment you take off your specs to sleep, everything around you will be blur...

Wonderful feeling that I can never forget. πŸ˜„

The bandage lens was on for about a week. The pain was bad for the first 3 days.

I have perfect vision now and no problems driving at night.
I did my epi lasik at the national eye centre.

Dr Lee Hung Ming, very nice and skillful. Did my LASIK with him in 2006 while he was still at TTSH. Perfect eyesight ever since.

Is Dr Lee still w TTSH?

Any idea what;s the waiting time & fees payable at TTSH vs private practice?

No he’s now at Parkway. I did about 5 yrs ago so can’t comment on waiting times now. He was senior surgeon at TTSH so I paid more than $4k then. You can google about him and call up to enquire.
