      Thank you for your interest in our program.
      Our school syllabus maths program generally consists of 3 groups, namely Problem Solving Heuristic, Problem Solving and Problem Solving Basic (except for P6, Problem Solving Heuristic is called PSLE A* Achievers).
      Problem Solving and Problem Solving Basic are focusing the students on adopting the correct approach in understanding and solving the problem.
      Problem Solving Heuristic is more on enhancing students’ maths concepts through various techniques and methods of solving.

        sum of 2 consecutive numbers in the series is a prime number
        --> 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37,41.......

        last two numbers gives 15+14 = 29
        next prime --> 31, so next number in the series = 31 -14 = 17

        1,1,2,3,4,7,6,11,8,15,14,17,20,21...

            May I know any differences between P1 IQ Maths and the coaching Maths?Wonder if at P1 coaching what would be the system likw esp P1 the kids mostly do not hv any homework?

            P1 IQ is designed to strengthen students’ mathematical and thinking skills through challenging IQ questions, games as well as hands-on activities whereby coaching class is a smaller class (1 teacher is to maximum 3 students) designed to accommodate students based on their needs in Maths. The 3 students in the coaching class may not be from the same level, usually ranging from upper primary to secondary school.
            Should you have more enquiries, please feel free to make a call or come down to our centre.

            Like that mean the class is max 3 students in which there would be different level of students. Does that explain that the class per lesson cost $50?

            May I know in terms of P1 IQ Maths, what is the ratio size for teacher to students?

              Coaching classes are meant for students who need help in specific topics. In general, our students will take up the class. As for P1, we would recommend your child to take up the P1 IQ class. In this way, he/she will be able to learn together as a class with peers of the same age. The IQ class will have hands-on activities that students benefit from. The ratio is kept at max of 12 students per teacher. However, the class size may be smaller depending on our different centres location and timing.

              As for coaching class, our dedicated teachers keep the coaching class size to a cap of 3 students so that students are given attention as per necessary. Please be assured that students are given ample attention. Should there be students who truly need 1-to-1 coaching based on parents' requests or teacher's feedback, parents can sign their child up for our 1-to-1 coaching.

                  He will be in P3 in 2013, have not done any modules.
                  That means he will hv to start with MOT introduction to L1?
                  What if he cannot cope?
                  Is there a trial lesson?

                    Hi ElmoWorld,

                    He will start with MOT Introduction to L3 instead of L1. L3 is targeted at P3 in 2013. It will serve as a revision course from L2 and a preview of L3. We do not have trial lessons for our holiday package. However, you can sign your child up for 5 lessons instead of the full 10 lessons.

                    In the event where you child cannot cope after a few lessons, we will advise him to attend our P3 Maths class which focuses on school syllabus. The difference in fees will be offset when he signs up for a new term next year.

                    Please kindly be reminded that our early bird discount deadline is 6 Nov.
