May I ask how to improve in unseen prose? There isn’t any unseen prose and model answers available for practice….

The purpose of testing https://www.testpapersfree.com/view.php?id=76130 as the name suggests is to give the students a passage that they have not seen before from text books. It is usually taken from a book or a novel. The best way to prepare for this is to encourage students to READ many books (not text books). This will increase their vocabulary as well as understanding of the language and read between the lines.

There are guidebooks or websites that teach the student what to look for, and how to express their opinions. This is not a \"model answer\" sort of exercise, but for students who just don't know what the questions might be asking, and how to respond. The main thing that will help students is to read a lot, and widely, and think about why they like/dislike a book, how it makes them feel, how the author makes characters come alive, underlying themes...

I don't know what books are available these days, but you can google, or ask the teacher for suggestions? From my children's schooldays, I recall teachers usually have some useful acronymns (which I can't remember now) to help them look for and comment on the various elements in the piece of prose or poetry. -
