You don't need to stay at a Disney hotel to have the character breakfast or dinner.

      Hi Dnls_mum,

Thanks for the info. Can I check whether it's necessary to make a reservation? If so, how should I go about it?

I called them to make the reservation. I super ks. Didn't want to disappoint my kids. I made several ressie. A Disney dim sum lunch at Disneyland hotel, a stitch outdoor dinner at hollywood hotel, and a bf and dinner at enchanted garden the character meal restaurant at Disneyland hotel.

        Hi Penglee,

Thanks for sharing yr pics. Btw can I check with you if I'm not staying at the hotel, can we still take our breakfast with the stars?

no need. you can buy tickets at \"Hollywood\", then just walk 12min or take shuttle to Disneyland Hotel for b'fast.

Between, I just noticed google-ad on top (KiasuParents banner) indicate 2D1N +2days tixs for HKD1211. (valid till 31Dec) - for your research purpose.

        Hi Penglee,

        Thanks for yr info.
Btw, you have mentioned abt the google-ad but I can't seems to find it.
Possible to guide me along? TIA!

the stitch dinner is a seasonal event, and is not available now. The special dim sum set too was a promotion set at Crystal Lotus, the chinese restauarnt. If they have it when you visit, definitely go for it, otherwise need to order ala carte which is definitely more expensive. The kids were really tickled about those dim sums. I'll try to uploan the dim sum photos once i figured out how to do it :rotflmao:

Breakfast was definitely cheaper at Enchanted Garden compared to dinner. Only problem with breakfast is that you will not be able to be at the park early and being early mean less crowd. We did breakfast on our check out day so more relaxing time wise.

I can't remember the cost of the meals. But dinner at Enchanted Garden was the most expensive, about SGD70plus per adult. But to be fair, the food quality was pretty good. You are paying for facetime with the characters, not only the food. Check out disney website for promotional coupons. We bought annual passes to enjoy the annual pass discounts and it was so worth it.

I think now there is a character meal at Hollywood hotel too and it is cheaper then the meal at Enchanted garden at disneyland hotel. But not sure if it is just mickey mouse or the whole gang. What we had at enchanted garden was with several characters.

            urhhh...how to upload photo???? :?

                    Hi,

The dim sum are really very cute and I believed the kids will find it very interesting too. Just to check with you, the Crystal Lotus Restaurant will not have the meet up with the Disney Characters right? You have mentioned that the dim sum that you went is in sets and on occasional periods only right? So do you have any idea what's the pricing like if it's on a-la-carte menu?

faithgurl, my parents had a simple dinner at crystal lotus restaurant. I couldn’t remember the exact pricing but it’s not a cheap cantonese restaurant for sure but definitely not too ridiculously expensive. Disneyland is a touristy place and Disneyland Hotel is a 5star hotel, so you won’t find cheap cheap food there.
