Think 25hourmaid took this score of 234 fr my earlier post. I posted that my dd's friend got into Maris Stella High with a score of 232+2 with HMT, this is not the cop. 231 is the cop as my friend has called the sch.

OK. Then it is very odd that yr friend's DS didn't get into Maris Stella though he has a higher aggregate.
Do keep us posted on the outcome and good luck to your friend n DS.

Did your friend call up Maris Stella to check for appeal procedure? Most schools have already started accepting appeal forms. Call up the school to check. Different schools have different appeal criteria and cut off dates for appeal.

Yes, i remember.
So your DD preferred Anglican High over Chung Cheng, then chose TKSS instead!

My DD got 239+2. Initially placed her first choice in Anglican High and 2nd TKSS... later changed it to TKSS as first choice cos of the hearsay etc... that first choice is very important... now I called AHS and found out the COP was 240!!!!!

Very sayang... but my DD is very happy with TKSS

Great, that your DD is very happy!
I kinda quite sayang that my DS did not put Victoria as 1st choice (COP this year drop by 1 point to 245).
But i belief that TKSS is the right choice for him in terms of motivation and chess.

Hmm.... how do you appeal when it is not even in your choices in the 1st place? Appeal means to \"beg\" for reconsideration for something you asked or applied for but didn't get, right?

Why is the COP for NYGH 261? How about 260 for students with distinction in HMT? So for NYGH, RV and St Nic the COP includes HMT too, right?
