wow, 5.30 am, that is really quite early, but it is good to go early.

We got own transport and we have a pair of walkie talkie, we can bring along if needed.

Does the price of RM150 include everything, ie. all meals and lodging? Like us 3+1, all in one room? Need to buy fishing rod etc from Spore? Sorry har, never been there, do not know what to expect.

        Hi Mandie,

Yeah, indeed go early better than sit in the car caught in Jam. My place is near the checkpoint (marsiling). Thx for the walkie, might be useful.

RM150 includes all boat, stay, meals, drinks. But there is an additional RM4 for Jetty fee. Carpark is RM4 per day ie RM8. Beds there like army bunk....communal accomodation.

As for fishing rod, can rent there. But it will be best to get some basic fishing rod in Singapore. Go to changi village, say want to go kelong catch tambans...they will sell you cheap cheap rod there. (tamban is like kuning, nasi lemak fish. normally can catch plenty).

Read here for things you need to bring.

If you guys are keen on good friday, being a holiday, I may head for this place. It will be an easier trip, nearer....and only a 1 day trip. On the way back, I bring you all go shopping. (did the ladies ears perk up?)

wah .. not bad, interest building!
          It's 2A + 1C (6yo) for us 😄
Sibu is in May .. So are we still looking at the 1 day nearer trip (as above)

Let’s aim for Sibu one in May.

If you guys enjoy the trip, can bring you all more often next time. Part of parenting is to teach our children catch fish, so that they can fish a lifetime. Only now, we will do it literally…hehe.

Bump this up… To date, I think I should have about 20 pax…will work out the logistics when the time is nearer.

For those that "registered", don’t worry…this is still on.

I am keen but that weekend my kids still have enrichment classes. I hope to make some arrangement for their lessons. Can I tentatively register 2A+3C first?
