Dim Sum

I prefer Tung Lok dimsum to Crystal Jade. The taste is more Cantonese. If want to avoid paying ++ (service charge + GST), we will go to Jurong East coffee shop for a quick fix - Tiong Bahru pau…equally yummy.

I am very curious, which coffee shop is that in Jurong East? :? JE is so big, would be good if you can at least provide the block number. Thanks. :celebrate:

Sorry forgot to indicate block number. Only remember there is a town council and Mcdonalds beside it. Will check.

Can help to recommend a good dim sum place at coffee shop or hawker centre??

Sometimes passing by coffee shops and see their dim sum spread is quite wide ranging. But can't remember the place, seems to be 1 at Thomson & 1 at Geylang East...

any recommendation will be welcomed can save on the ++, tea, pickle and other misc. charges

There’s one at Marine Parade, hawker centre that’s near Koi bubble tea.

AGREE. After a meal at Crystal Jade, I have no problems going to the loo because of the amount of oil used...also have this thirst in the throat which can't be quenched, could be the MSG and salt.

Last Sunday, we went to Tung Lok for dimsum as hubby had a voucher…but can only use for a la carte. Quite ex if don’t go for buffet.

There is 1 at Geylang near the library. It has a red signboard although I cannot remember the name.

We used to go to this stall at the Chinatown Hawker centre above the market. They make their own 猪肠粉 and 叉烧包。Very nice. Also very economical. Not sure if it is still there.
