LV@grassroots had a huge problem with staffing in 2010. So much so that their mgt from hq had to have dialogues with parents several times. We had to appeal to the hq so many times to consider posting teachers from other ctrs that have healthy staffing to help LV@grassroots and they finally did (after a long while). My boy’s class suffered from a change of 5 teachers at k1 level in one year!)
Situation may have changed, i am not sure. But best you interview the principal to check that the centre meets your needs.
I also do not like their approach to the k2 year end graduation concert. The one I went to was in 2011. Very impersonal as they bunch graduating kids from all centers together and most kids were given bit pieces in their ‘lion king’ production eg swaying flowers, swaying trees, random animals with no real parts.
But I liked the teacher my boy finally had in k2. She was very engaging and used interesting methods to teach. But Chinese teachers so-so. -
Hi parents, do you have thoughts or experience with LV at Surbana One?
i am thinking of enrolling my BB this June and appreciate your feedback. -
Hi
Would appreciate feedback from parents who have kids in LV Fusionopolis. Thanks in advance.

my son is currently with the toddler class at LV@GC… hmm… i would say it really depends on the trs… some trs don’t seem to have passion for teaching young kids… just taking it as a job… last year his toddler tr was really good… can feel her passion… his current toddler tr really needs some pushing…

Hi Mummies,
some feedback from me about the LV at the Solaris Building since my kido is there. I will be pulling him out by the end of this month after 1.5months in the sch.
The teachers are not passionate, the school is unorganized. If you are thinking of sending ur child there, think twice. There must be a reason why the Mindchamps in Fusionoplois is bursting while the LV in solaris has so little children when fees in Mindchamps cost more.
Teachers stroll into the sch at 9.35am when they are supposed to be prepared and start lesson at 9.30am. Principle shouts at my Kido ‘Eh! What you want?’ when he was on the verge of bursting into tears when he was overwhelm by a sudden huge group of people crowding round the school. I was totally put off by her! Is that the way to treat the children when they are already feeling scared? And she was speaking in broken English. Instead of apologising to me & my son…she goes on to explain that the teachers timetables are planned properly and she was busy with a group of kids! Can you imagine how she will treat ur child if she is going to be really busy? There are many things that have happened to show how irresponsible the school is.
With the amount of school fees I am paying, my child is better off elsewhere.
Hope this helps.
I am putting my child in Mindchamps thereafter. -
Combist, Sugarbunny & any parent thinking of putting ur child at the LV solaris building…Please think twice!
the orientation may look good…but chances of you regretting is rather high. -

I'm going to send my boy to toddler class this coming Aug. I just brought him to the center to try uniform last Friday and let him played for 1 hour. Honestly, I was not fully satisfied that time. First of all, toddler classes were quite messy, kids were running around and teachers seem not so paying attention to them, one boy almost run to the entrance (well good that they have secured door lock). And at about 17:00, all the kids (from toddler to K2 students) were gathered in the music room waiting for parents to pick them up (17:00?? so early?? I'll only pick up my boy after 18:00, which means he will need to stay with the older kids for that long time, what if older kids bully him??). And I saw an accident happened when a boy pushed a girl and her heat hit the TV table ...Hi parents, do you have thoughts or experience with LV at Surbana One?
i am thinking of enrolling my BB this June and appreciate your feedback.
I did highlight this concern to the centre today, and they keep telling me that teachers will be there to look after the children ... (but this was not what I saw).
My official enrolled date is 1st Aug when my boy is 18 months and now I'm still considering whether I should postpone untill he is a bit older.
By the way, this center does not have CCTV camera! I just confirmed with the principal and I also wrote an email to the LV website requesting for CCTV camera.
