Just came back from LV. Joanna Was not there because she went for meeting. Ya the new location @SP2 is at the Crimson. There is a playground, open and enclose class room i dont know how many classrooms r there but sure lesser than the current one because their intake for LVSP2 will be lesser.

I asked if any teacher will be joining LSH n she said that non of them will be joining them because they have join LV for so many years they don wanna join new environment and restart evenything again.

That's my understanding, too. But during the LSH briefing, Patricia mentioned some teachers have approached them to join them. Not sure whether it's true or not, but if it is true, guess the teachers wouldn't dare to tell LV yet.

So, overall, how do you feel about LV? Who \"entertained\" you during the visit since Joanne wasn't in? Did you confirm your son's enrollment on the spot?

I didnt get the name of the lady who brought us around. If it helps she's a young Malay lady and she wears a head dress. We did drive around Crimson the area look peaceful n with some greenary. Till now we don know which party is telling the truth regarding the teacher issue we have to wait till next year when school starts than know the true :?
But the teachers in LV look friendly, when we were there those teachers did say hi to us while feeding the children.

When LV move to SP2 will they be using new furniture or will use the current one in kent vlue. Maybe Qms or Izxuan can help me ask

hi fion, think will be all new furniture at SP2 cos was told almost all furnitures at kent vale belongs to NUS.

Is LV refering to those fixed furniture and LSH is refering to those movable furniture? Like those built in cabinets inside all the classroom, those sure will be reused by LSH. For tables/chairs, I believe belong to LV.

Btw, my hubby was observing the layout, and he asked one of the senior teacher where is the dining area. It is currently not in the layout. The senior teacher told us that the layout is not firmed, the children might be eating in their own classroom. Eating/Learning/Sleeping all at the same place??!! :!:

That's what my son's first childcare centre did.

In fact, it's better this way, in my opinion. After meals, the cleaners would clean the rooms. I think it is more hygienic this way.
