      Fion Loh:
Is there any teachers from Lv go to LSH?

      Yes, three Chinese teachers.

Have you been to the LV@Alpha to see the place yet? Heard that some parents were so impressed with the new centre that they withdrew from LSH.

Maybe that's why the parents I mentioned previously decided to switch to LV from LSH? The centre is also very new, right?

For the benefit of other forummers, would you be able to elaborate more, e.g. is there any dining area, etc.?

            Have you confirmed with them?

I thought they charge $850 for full day childcare? After $300 government subsidy, and adding another 7% GST, it doesn't come up to $660, right?

they don have their own dining area… will have their meal in their class room . The toddler n the N1 & n2 classes will have their own classroom . The K1 & 2 is those open concept. Their full day charge is $900 not $850. so afte $300 government subsidy, and adding another 7% GST is about $660

He developed cough initially then had high fever & severe diarrhoea. After a few days of medication (6 types of oral & 2 types of suppository) he still look lethargic.

Went back to PD & suggested admission 😞

My poor son was traumatised coz he was on DRIP. Both hands mobilised. I was really affected though I was strong in front of him...Somemore I'm preggy.

He's back to normal life now after much encouragement coz he dare not change diapers, bathe etc.

Perhaps you can try to enroll him in those 2-3 hours playgroup for a year before going in to Childcare center again. My son was in LV for 8 months time, coughing on and off for few months. Ended up dianogsed with asthma. But doctor said he has bad genes, not because of prolonged cough. He needs to be on steriod inhaler for 3 months, within these 3 months he should not cough again else the 3 months period need to restart. One month after he was on steriod inhaler, he was coughing again and admitted to hospital for 1 week and was dianogsed with H1N1. So we decided to pull him out from childcare and let him have at least \"germ-less\" 3 months period at home. He has just stopped his steriod inhaler few weeks ago. Trying to build up his immunie system before sending him back to childcare. He is lacking behind in terms of study now as he is still not able to recognise well all the letters but these are not important as kids can catch up very quickly. He will be in N2 this year. So this is an example of a case worse than your son, so you should feel better. 😄
