they don have their own dining areaโ€ฆ will have their meal in their class room . The toddler n the N1 & n2 classes will have their own classroom . The K1 & 2 is those open concept. Their full day charge is $900 not $850. so afte $300 government subsidy, and adding another 7% GST is about $660

He developed cough initially then had high fever & severe diarrhoea. After a few days of medication (6 types of oral & 2 types of suppository) he still look lethargic.

Went back to PD & suggested admission ๐Ÿ˜ž

My poor son was traumatised coz he was on DRIP. Both hands mobilised. I was really affected though I was strong in front of him...Somemore I'm preggy.

He's back to normal life now after much encouragement coz he dare not change diapers, bathe etc.

Perhaps you can try to enroll him in those 2-3 hours playgroup for a year before going in to Childcare center again. My son was in LV for 8 months time, coughing on and off for few months. Ended up dianogsed with asthma. But doctor said he has bad genes, not because of prolonged cough. He needs to be on steriod inhaler for 3 months, within these 3 months he should not cough again else the 3 months period need to restart. One month after he was on steriod inhaler, he was coughing again and admitted to hospital for 1 week and was dianogsed with H1N1. So we decided to pull him out from childcare and let him have at least \"germ-less\" 3 months period at home. He has just stopped his steriod inhaler few weeks ago. Trying to build up his immunie system before sending him back to childcare. He is lacking behind in terms of study now as he is still not able to recognise well all the letters but these are not important as kids can catch up very quickly. He will be in N2 this year. So this is an example of a case worse than your son, so you should feel better. ๐Ÿ˜„

Visited LV@Alpha this morning. As the centre is new, everything looks refreshing, compared to the dated furnishings at Kent Vale.

Actually, the Kindergarten levels are in classrooms, while the nursery levels are in the open area. They have a very small dining area. Didnโ€™t get the chance to see their outdoor play area, hence, not able to comment.

Heard that the other childcare centres in Science Park 2 are closing down or have closed down. Hence, LV have been receiving a lot of enquiries lately. So, for those who are interested in LV@Alpha, you may like to approach them soon. They are capping their intake.

                    Hi there
Thanks for sharing & I hope he has recovered. Yes, health is more impt than anything. At least from this incident I am aware of my son's body condition so we are giving him iron supplememts as recommended by PD & improve his daily food intake ie more red meat, spinach etc.
It's really not easy to take care of a sick child. The process is very tedious and seeing him so lethargic I felt so sorry for him.
Well he's back to normal life now & I can prepare for my delivery ๐Ÿ™‚
                    Thanks for sharing!
