Hi soursop!
I will PM you on your concerns. -

Think you r giving urself too much pressure. Putting the teacher factor aside, it is just the 2nd school week of the year and generally, the first week is orientation week where new students join n existing students adapt to their new levels. Maybe u shld monitor for a while longer.Hi qms,
However, now in K2, she has a new teacher and she is the VP of this school. I just want to find out what you think about the quality of the teachers there as I think this new teacher doesn't really teach much and they are mostly left to play all day by themselves. I can accept this for tod or N1 level, but K2 needs to have more teachings and work to do to prepare them for P1....don't know , I'm just worried cos everyday i go fetch here, she's always playing and her class room is also not set up, no timetable, no display of their work and all....kinda strange since all the other classrooms in other levels have been set up already ....things are really going downhill....
This is kinda stressing me to the point of maybe pulling her out..but she likes the school alot so I don't want to make her adjust again esp since it's the last yr before P1....
Anybody else have any comments, do share with me...thanks so much... -
hi keendaddy!
Yeah, that thought came across my mind too but being a parent, we just can’t stop being ‘kan cheong’ about our children’s welfare especially since K2 is such an important year before they go to P1. LV@Alpha’s fees are definitely not cheap so my expectation is that they at least learn something each day and not just play and draw the entire day which they will also do so already during free time. But i guess this is a CC so we can’t realy compare with 3 hr kindy where lessons are more structured…
I will let her be for the time being and see how things go… -

Thanks qms! I have read it!
Does anybody have any feedbacks on LV@Alpha's curriculum? How are their toddler class? They recently changed their menu to catered food...any comments on their quality? My DD seems to like them but she still says auntie's one is better....

Its interesting that most of the threads in this topic is on LV@alpha and LV@NUS. Any parents having their kids in LV@CCK?

Hi Soursop, I share the same sentiment as you regarding whether the child is really learning as vs keep playing in school. I believe that the preparation part for P1 is important to get our child's right foot in the Primary level. My child is in K2 this year as well. Thanks qms! I have read it!
