The one in Orlando is called Walt Disney World, not Disneyland. If you want cheaper option than the Disney hotels, there are many motels around. Beside WDW, don’t forget to visit Uniserval Studios, and perhaps Kennedy Space Center.

Based on attractions, Tokyo Disneyland wins twofold.

However, based on age target, HK Disneyland is the better choice for its selection of rides is catered to kids ten and under.

i’m planning to bring my coming to 4yr old gal to tokyo DL. I am wondering why is the 1day ticket rate so much cheaper in HK compared to the one in tokyo?

I try to find out what is the height limit for each ride but it says check with the staff there and look at the sign. I like to find out exactly how many percent of rides she can ride before i commit for the tripe otherwise would be a waste of $$$ going al the way there…

She is about 100cm tall or more…

anyone who’s been there… please share your experiences. thanks

Most of the rides in Tokyo DL minimum height is 90cm. But a few rides needs 100 - 120cm and above. I brought my DD to DL last year and she was barely 90cm and she enjoyed most of the rides.

You cannot compare HKG with JPN DL. The size of DL in HKG is much smaller compre to JPN. HKG has the smallest DL.

Ya, I heard HK one is really small and probably 1 day should be able to accompanish all the rides.

So how many days did you spend in disneyland and which hotel did you stay? I plan to stay at disneyland for at least 2 or max 3 days. Then move to the central city.

On the whole, how many days did you spend there?

HK is small. 2 half days and 1 night are more than suffice especially during non-peak period.

The last time we were there, we could take some rides multiple times; and eventually ran out of new rides to take.

                The night show was nice.

HK Disneyland is smaller and more manageable.

For those who are planning for the USA Disneyland/Disney World, the best time to go is after their Thanksgiving Holiday. that is the lowest attendance week throughout the whole year.

For planning, I recommend gettting a disney guide book from the library - there are lots of info there including day plan on how to maximise your trip and the rating of the various rides based on your kids age.

For good deals, you can check out http://www.mousesavers.com/ but this is only for USA. For those going to Disneyland in LA, I highly recommend Howard Johnson Anahiem as it is near the theme park and the room is nice and cosy and the rates are good. Ideal for family.

leave the baby and concentrate on bonding with your DD. your baby DS is too young to enjoy Disneyland.
