I can attest to the part time work if there is no very clear job scope between part time and full time because I ended up still doing almost the same things but bringing the work back home to do since I do get to leave office earlier.

I guess part time will work if u are very firm when it comes to if the work should in your purview and also a new working environment where the boss and colleagues are new would probably help too

        TheAnswer:
Any FTWM ever consider working flexible hours?

Mine is considered flexible hours but doesn't mean I have shorter hours but it does helps when DDs has any urgent items coming up or have the option to work from home when BASC is closed

Unfortunately not all orgs practise flexi-hours or work from home. I am stuck in office from 8-6 daily. It’s not even a culture to take 1-2 hours off if needed.

The flexi hours do come with a price...... like night calls from 8pm onwards and can last till midnight. Weekends, not really spared either so working from the phone.

But I do like my job and the exposure it gives so ultimately it is just a compromise 🙂

Heh how’s all the FTWM? Must be too busy to comment heh. I’m overwhelmed with housework but thank goodness for labour day. Really toiling at home

Is it more rewarding or tiring to coach children yourself? 😄 mummies and daddies, any thoughts?

yeah, I can afford to give them MORE lessons 😆
but not really the pretty things for myself lei
I spent a huge part of my salary on them, then save the rest for holiday trips and some treats here and there...
