Oh wow, that is quite different from last year’s COP of AL11.
Schools that have affiliated primary schools and schools that are not among the most popular tends to fluctuate quite a fair due to a number of factors. +- 2 to 3 isn’t that surprising for this group.

Hello! i have a question here:

I’m currently a secondary 3 student in express o level from a neighbourhood school. Currently my neighbourhood school is quite far for me. (joined due to cca and did not consider the distance). i want to ask if i want to transfer schools, what are the exact procedure? do i call up the school for vacancy first? who do i contact first? is it a good idea to transfer at sec 3? For me i have no problems adapting to a new environment and i’m quite open, but i want to hear some advice! thank you

            You can call-up this school,

ask to speak to the VP (Academic), ask her whether got any Sec 3 vacancy, and whether they still allow transfer at Sec 3, since we are already almost reaching the end of Term 1 ?

(normally, Transfer occur at end of Sec 2)

Next week is … week 6,
many Secondary schools are starting (commence) their Term 1 Weighted Assessments.

Hi anyone’s child got into smss via DSA? Care to share your experience like which school your child was from, what talent, is past academic results the first thing they look at before talent, was it hard etc? Looking at dance and arts, worried the competition is fierce…

St Margaret’s uniform is so recognisable.

Hi, I’m not familiar with the posting process these days. I’d like to enrol my daughter into St Margs, under Normal A, does anyone know if it’s possible to indicate this during the school selection? She’s not affiliated hence unlikely to make it to Express stream. If possible, what are the chances for an unaffiliated student to make it to the NA stream, provided makes the AL cut? Thansk for any advice.

Hi for last year’s batch, the non-affiliated score range for St Marg’s NA stream was AL 21-22 (cut off at 22). Unfortunately if her score doesnt fall into this narrow range, unlikely to enter this school. Info from MOE School Finder website:

Hi!! Thanks for your reply. Does that mean, for example, if my child scores 19 and she selects St Margs NA, she won’t be admitted?
