Comparing Science Enrichment Programs
-
March holidays would be coming, is there any interesting primary school science enrichment program which you can send your child to?
Those using rote learning? Or those using experiential learning through play and toys like Lego? Or maybe those using games? -

Hi Adoncia,AdonciaTang:
I also have a tutor that I would like to recommend if you guys are interested. Both DS did very well under her. My elder DS got A* for his PSLE and younger son scored band 1 for last SA2.
But she is in the east side, tampines simei area. If don mind the distance, PM me.
She was featured in the newspaper and magazines. Owner of the centre and teach by herself, my nieces and nephews also go over to her centre. The best thing is they have hands on experiment which both my DS love...
I'm staying in the East, could you pm me her contact. Thanks. -
I’m staying at Marine Parade area. Last year, my P6 DD1 was taught by a science teacher specialised in P5 and P6 Science only. The lessons had hands-on experiments followed by tackling the higher-order thinking questions and concept maps. My kids love it cos they can feel, see, hear Science! Science is not dry anymore. My DD1 was able to get more than 90% marks after one term with her since P5 (previously she was always getting 80+%). My DD1 got A* for her Science in PSLE and is now in an IP school. This teacher has set up a Science enrichment centre at Eastgate which I’m signing up for my P4 DD2.
I understand they are having an Open House this Sat. -
Name of school? I don’t mind going to the open house to have a look.
