Hey buds,
The friend who recommended Deuter told me it used to be ex…that store I went to at JCube was giving 30% off. I love the colour combination of the bag. -

Cute lar you zeemimi.

Sunflower03, it's ok to try out the Pop Ergo.
Just that it may not be as durable as other brands mentioned in discussion. Design and colours are also limited. But yes, it's still ergo bag. It's not cheap either. If can spare a bit extra can consider other brands. If not, for P1 children... not too many books.. not carrying bag to go to school via public transport to and fro.. slightly cheaper option of an ergo bag.. can still try. Most to most if it does not last, following year your child will get to taste another new bag.
We tried Pop Ergo before. As children move up levels the bag load gets heavier. Pop Ergo was not able to offer the back support I expected for an ergo especially for my very small sized daughter, but then again everyone's experience may differ.
Cheers. -
Janet_lee88, I love that Deuter packs a punch in that compact bag of theirs. They seem to keep coming up with better/new comfort innovation. I also love it that they have a delectable selection of designs and colours to choose from be it if you're buying for a girl or a boy. No more sticking to plain dark blues and black bags anymore. Their colours are vibrant. The cushioning is good with all that nice padding and the airflow, even when the kiddies are sweating... does not make the bag uncomfortable to carry. Only downside is because the bag seems to be able to mask the actual weight of the bag load, DDs keep wanting to stuff their whole junk inside. They insist its not heavy.
And yes... I find that their pricing is more affordable now. -

The kids and junior design and colours are also nice. :please: -
Hey Buds,
Deuter colors are attractive…like you said, no need to stick to staid colors for boys. The one I bought for son was love at first sight. I had to get it…after 30% it cost $69. Son also loves the color combination. Sick of SPI now.
Ooh…the mixture of pinks for deuter are so pretty. I love pink. -
Mine wants a haversack for sec 1. Any advice in which brand ?
