Just received call from RI coach informing me that my son received a confirmed offer. Presenting CO letters and Principal's talk at 9 am this Saturday (26 August).Best of luck to all.

DD managed to get CO for visual arts as well. So happy, now no need to stress so much over PSLE. Actually only subject DD is weak in is mother tongue and she is really weak at it. So thank God there is DSA, otherwise it will be so sad to be penalised just for second language alone.

Anyone knows how long does normal mail takes to deliver? I called xinmin and they said that they have mailed out on Monday. Until now I haven't receive the mail... so kan chiong...
If they mail out on Monday, after 12pm, you should get it by today -

Received CO from SOTA for dance, but not sure if to accept it, DD loves dancing but heard the dancers' schedule are tough at SOTA, need to cope with IB schedule and dancers basically dance at least 11 hrs per week, school can end at 12am when there is performance or competition, this was told by a friend's hubby who was SOTA maths teacher. Also, understand SOTA now only allow one science at year 5 and 6, is it true? -

I think there are many misconceptions about GEP kids. To be fair, many geppers are prefects or CCA leaders in their primary schools, and are also largely responsible for winning competitions for schools.veryscared:
If there isn't advantages, why would parents send their DC to tuition lessons specially designed for gifted programm?
Don't shoot me hor, but I read on the web before, natural gippers are smart but have behaviour issues, hence they are being grouped together. :? dont know how true is it?
If one is \"veryscared\" about behaviour issues, then one has the choice not to send their children to schools like RGS, NYGH, RI or HCI, where there are many geppers!!

Has Cedar released results across all domains? So far only heard of Math & Science from this group.
Hi WonderWoman, for Cedar Girls i think all DSA results should be out by this week becos the tea reception is on 28th Aug (Mon) 5.45pm. Hope you'll get your gd news this week! -
