Because this year 2017, they cut down the number of CO offered. So, RI and other schools are highly selective, in their choice of CO.

The last 2 years RI released the results on the Monday following PSLE oral. Today is Thursday already but still no news. Why, oh why are they so late this year ? Unless they want to confirm, and double confirm the results list??? :nailbite:

But if as mentioned, principal will present co letter this sat. 2 possibilities,
1-- results may be announced tmr (only one day before the event. How rush);
2-- principal like to present co letter to sports domain before announce the result to the rest (how strange).

dear parents one quick question, my son applied to only 1 school under DSA sports O level track and got waiting list, it seems in Oct there is a exercise school preference. If he choose this 1 WL school only, and if his PSLE get unexpected good enough result for IP program, can I choose another IP school even thought he exercise the preference for the WL school? Tks!!

For parent waiting for SCGS IP, i called up the school n was advised that they will only mail out letters to inform. As of now, they have not mailed out yet. They have different poc for O level n IP. Not sure for O level, have they mailed out already or not.

If he exercise his preference and choose the WL school in Oct, and then WL is converted to CO at PSLE results day, then he would not be able to participate in the S1 Option phase, so means cannot choose another school (IP or not). If the WL is not converted, then he is free to choose.

I thought once submitted the school preference, they will not participate in the S1 posting exercise? So even if did well for PSLE, cant change anymore.

My DD1 accepted a CO offer 3 years ago, although her PSLE score is above the COP of the school accepted and eligible for another school, we are not allowed to change.
