Anyone on WL cedar ip? Most likely giving up our co

Very appreciate your decisiveness in considerations for those others on WL waiting. Hope your girl is blessed with her choice school & thrive well happily.

I really dunno how to advise her, she giving up becos she thinks vjc Netball standard not good enough, cedar Netball is still ok though. So she is choosing sports over academic, shd I be intervening?
Mengsan,

I do apologize I did not kaypoh asks too much circumstances behind yr earlier sharing that yr DD might be dropping Cedar's CO. Thank u for providing more details.

You'll be the best person as mummy to know & access yr DD's maturity & sensibilities. It won't be very fair to yr gal for us to advise coz we do not know yr DD at all but I feel that kid's buy-in is very impt as they grow into teens. They're the ones who wld be happy/unhappy to put in extra effort for academic performance. You might like to guide more & get her commitment if she's accepting DSA under sports. She must know the need to stick to & honor her sports DSA choice the whole 4-6 years. Get her to read up & find out more feedback how each school's academic staff supports those doing sports. Guide her towards selecting good wholesome support for both academic & sports.

For some, once they are entrusted to their choice schools, and they know the condition is not to slide in their academics, you might be witnessing a happy child who will not want to disappoint parents, just as they were not made to be disappointed.

My dd is giving up her cedar ip, so that she can give a shot at rgs through s1 posting. She is aiming for chance to get into supposedly better netball team at rgs, aiming to play for national age group in future, which I find is taking her chance too far, giving up too much for the bet. In the end she may miss out any IP sch totally if she fails to get higher than 255, too risky to forsake academic for sports. There is no second choice for her now except rgs, I give up trying to persuade her, sigh

So if child does not want to accept any CO/WL, can just ignore the form (and login instructions), right?
